TRACY – The Nissan Pathfinder and Altima were recently listed on the Kelly Blue Book’s 10 Best Family Cars.
Both vehicles are available at Tracy Nissan, 3195 N. Naglee Road.
Reinvented for this year, the Pathfinder was named to the top spot on the list of Best Family Cars for 2013, according to www.KBB.com.
The Altima also made this year’s Kelley Blue Book cut of top family-friendly vehicles.
As part of the Fourth of July celebration, the Tracy dealership is currently offering $500 bonus cash on the 2013 Altima.
Each year, editors of the Kelley website – the leading provider of new and used car information – develop their top 10 list based on characteristics that cater to unique family specifications and situations.
“The Pathfinder and Altima were both completely redesigned to enhance the driver and passenger experience with a bevy of technology and styling upgrades that satisfy the needs of the entire family,” noted Jon Brancheau, vice president of marketing for Nissan North America, Inc.
He added: “The marketplace has embraced the new direction of these vehicles, and it’s a tremendous honor to be recognized by Kelley blue Book for our achievements in making the Pathfinder and Altima two of the most family-friendly vehicles on the road today.”
The Pathfinder represents a new synthesis of comfort and utility, including a more refined unibody construction for a civilized ride that maintains best-in-class standards with a towing capacity of 5000 pounds.
KBB editors also praised the Pathfinder’s improved ride quality, better handling and best-in-class highway fuel economy of 26 miles per gallon.
The fourth-generation Pathfinder, featuring 16 cubic feet of cargo, can seat up to seven passengers comfortably while featuring best-in-class interior volume, best-in-class front headroom, and class-exclusive reclining third-row seats, according to the KBB website.
The Altima was launched in June 2013 and, according to www.KBB.com, earned the 10 Best Family Cars ranking based on its “sharp new look, tech-savvy features, refined driving characteristics and class-leading fuel economy” of 38 mpg.
The 2013 Nissan sedan also sits comfortably five people and has a host of safety features including blind-spot monitoring and lane-keep assist.
In addition, the fifth-generation Altima comes equipped with standard Bluetooth hands-free phone system and streaming audio via Bluetooth.
