Sixteen people were arrested by Sheriff’s deputies in a Lathrop prostitution ring sting and for outstanding warrants for their arrests Saturday night in the 16000 block of Harlan Road, according to Deputy Les Garcia.
Daniel Mok, 28, was charged with the human trafficking of a 19-year-old woman who was allegedly forced into prostitution.  She was taken to a safe house for her protection, deputies said.
Mok is scheduled to appear in the Manteca Branch of the San Joaquin County Superior Court at 1:30 p.m. today.  He is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail in the San Joaquin County Jail in French Camp.
