RIPON - A monetary gift of some $3,000 was spread among the libraries within the Ripon Unified School District by a partnership of the Ripon Soroptimist Club and the Friends of the Ripon Memorial Library.
Lisa Suender of the supportive library group said, “The Friends are proud to have been joined by the Ripon Soroptimists in this allocation of funding in our schools.”
She added that the “unique partnership” will provide an allocation of $500 to each of the school libraries as well as at two at the Ripon Christian Schools.
