Chris Teicheira almost picked the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament to a T.

The Manteca Bulletin freelance columnist correctly picked 15 of the 16 teams to reach the Sweet 16 and has missed on only six games, despite filling out his ESPN Tournament Challenge bracket “at 4 a.m. in a blind haze ... Hence, the UAB pick.”

Teicheira has accumulated 530 points and is ranked 5,685 in ESPN’s worldwide challenge. The tournament resumes today.

If you’re headed to Reno or Las Vegas, Teicheira likes Kentucky, Notre Dame, Duke, Gonzaga, Louisville, Michigan State, North Carolina and Arizona to advance to the Elite 8.

His national champion: Kentucky over Gonzaga.
