Stanley and Tracy Vander Veen are seeking county planning permission to open a crane rental facility on the east side of Comconex Road some 500 feet north of East Highway 120 just outside the city limits.

They are seeking permission to build a 3,200-sdquare-foot office building plus a 15,000-square-foot shop for the incidental repair of their cranes. The site consists of 8.42 acres. It would be sandwiched between the Four Square Gospel Church and Cornerstone Community Church.

The San Joaquin County Planning Commission will consider the application when they meet on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the Public Health/Planning Auditorium at 1601 E. Hazelton Avenue in Stockton.
