Make a difference in the life of an adult resident at Manteca Care & Rehabilitation facility this Christmas. Pick up a green or red stocking and/or bulb decoration at Precision Automotive in Manteca and adopt a resident by purchasing any or all of the items in that person’s wish list in the back of the ornament. The gifts being requested will not leave a big hole in your pocket. Many of the requested items are simple day-to-day basic needs such as a pair of warm slippers, combs, shampoo, and soap.After you’ve made the purchases, bring them back unwrapped in a large Christmas bag with wrapping tissue to Precision Automotive where volunteers will wrap the gifts and then deliver them to Manteca Care & Rehab. The gifts will be distributed by Santa at the annual Christmas party for the residents and their families to be held on Christmas Eve, Tuesday, Dec. 24, starting at 2 p.m.Precision Automotive, located at the corner Moffat Boulevard and South Garfield Avenue, is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (closed from 12 to 1 p.m.) Monday to Friday.
