Wonder who has lush lawns in Manteca and those who have cut back a bit to save water as of this week?

It won’t be long until that information is as close as your smartphone.

That’s because a Google car equipped with cameras that record panoramic street views was spotted Wednesday around 1 p.m. driving down Daniels Street.

The last time an update was done of Manteca street views was in 2012.

The Google Maps Street View feature was implemented in 2007. While they automatically blur faces and license plates that are caught on camera, if you don’t want your house in sharper focus and prefer to be blurred you have to make a request for Google to do that.
