Manteca resident Richard Hanson gets in short zingers from time-to-time during public comments at the Manteca City Council meetings.

Referencing a council discussion on 200-year flood projection mandated by the state, Hanson stepped up to the microphone and said, “I don’t think we have to worry about 200-year floods. Jerry Brown is going to send all of our water to Southern California.”

He got more than a few laughs.
