Ed Krigbaum, author of the “Relentless: The Socialist Attack on American Freedom” is the speaker for the Thursday, Oct. 27, meeting of the Manteca Patriots.

The Tea party organization meets from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at Chez Shari on the second floor of the Manteca Golf Course clubhouse  at 205 N. Union Road.

Krigbaum will describe how the goal of the communist/socialist movement is to drive capitalism and freedom from American culture.

He will discuss understanding the implications of movements like  Occupy Wall Street and the “internal threat we face.”

A passage from Page 196 in his book reads, “The choice is this: join the fight in this war of ideas, or when it’s too late for that, you can join the fight in the war of guns and bullets.  I hope and pray that enough brave people join in the first war, so we won’t need the second.”
