The Pumpkin Fair carnival has rolled into Manteca.
It is open today through Sunday in the JC Penney parking lot in The Promenade Shops at Orchard Valley at the 120 Bypass and Union Road.
The carnival hours are today and Friday from 4 to 10 p.m. as well as Saturday and Sunday from noon to 10 p.m.
Also starting ahead of the actual street fair that features 180 vendors, food booths, entrainment, kids’ games and more in downtown Manteca Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. is the annual Pumpkin Run.
The Pumpkin Run benefitting Manteca Unified Student Trust takes place Saturday in downtown Manteca with the start and finish line near Library Park.
The entry fee for runners in either the mile or 5K is $35 on race day. Registration is at 7 a.m., the mile run at 8 a.m. and the 5K at 8:30 a.m. MUST is a non-profit foundation established to support the students of Manteca Unified. All profits from the event benefits student programs in MUSD. To make a charitable contribution, visit the website at www.mantecausd.net and click on MUST. Entry Fees are tax deductible.
Entries are still being sought for the Manteca Sunrise Kiwanis Pumpkin Fair Car Show taking place Sunday in downtown Manteca in the 100 block of North Main Street with set-up at 7 a.m. and the show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There is a $25 entry fee.
