Jeremy Victorino, 29, the most seriously injured in a Saturday night collision with a Manteca police vehicle,  remains in a medically induced coma at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto, according to a family member.

He was described as having a fractured skull and a collapsed lung from the collision that occurred at the intersection of South Main Street and Moffat Boulevard in Manteca.

The family member said the coma was hopefully having an effect on the potential swelling of the man’s brain.  He remains in intensive care at the hospital, listed in critical condition, she said Tuesday afternoon.
