The San Joaquin Metro Narcotics Task Force and a San Joaquin County Sheriff’s SWAT Team served a search warrant Tuesday morning on a home that ended up yielding more than four pounds of processed marijuana, 7 grams of crystal meth and 6 mature marijuana plants.

The house, on the 16000 block of Suzie Q Lane, also contained more than an ounce of concentrated cannabis and the items used in its manufacture along with digital scales and packaging material.

An investigation revealed that suspect Jose Luis Rodriguez, 20, who is a documented Norteno gang member and is prohibited from possessing firearms, was in possession of several. Deputies discovered four firearms in his bedroom, one of which was reported stolen. Rodriguez’ girlfriend Catherine Bazan, 38, was also arrested as was her 17-year-old daughter – who was charged separately with possessing a firearm and possession of marijuana for sale.

Rodriguez and Bazan were booked into the San Joaquin County Jail for possession for sale of methamphetamine and marijuana, manufacturing of concentrated cannabis, cultivation, weapons charges and child endangerment. The 17-year-old was booked into juvenile hall.
