Friends of the late Ronnie Limas will be conducting fundraisers in Manteca to help defray burial cost.
Limas, 46, passed away last month some two months after being diagnosed with cancer.
His sister purchased burial plots long ago for the family, but the cost of the burial and other related expenses was a financial burden to the family (Limas’ daughter was laid off from her job about two days after his death).
A drive-thru dinner is planned for Friday, July 9, at Les Schwab Tires, 1240 Yosemite Ave., from 4 to 7 p.m.
Cost is $15, with Fagundes meats supplying the food.
Dinner will consist of tri-tip beef and chicken breast, potato salad, baked beans and a dinner roll with butter. Drinks can be purchased separately.
