East Union senior studied at Stanford during summer break

Stephanie Booke, a senior at East Union High School, completed three college courses at Stanford University’s summer school program.

Booke was invited by Stanford University to participate in the university studies.

Booke took general psychology, bioethics, and human physiology while maintaining a 4.0 GPA in all courses while obtaining college credits to apply to her future college education.

She maintains a 4.3 GPA in high school and plans to explore a future in medicine.

Booke was one of 10 recipients within several counties to receive the Sandia Women’s Outstanding Achievement in Mathematics.
