Fellowship Baptist stages Christmas play tonight

“The Reason for the Season” Christmas play is being presented by the Fellowship Baptist Church tonight at 7 p.m.

The cast is made up of church youth from four to 18 years old who will be taking on the characters of angels, cards, stockings, a candy cane and a bell at the 1100 Pine Street church.

Church Pastor Keith C. Morgan welcomes members of the public to take time out to enjoy the Christmas presentation under the leadership of play directors Jacky McFadden, Alison Perrilliat and youth director Corinne Wilson.

Jermaine Randolph is taking on the role of the Tree,  and Brijanee Moore will be the star.  Other performers include Tanisha Randolph as the Angel, Isaac Bill, The Card and Shantina Perez is taking on the character of the Candy Cane.

Krevon Perez is the Bell and the presents are represented by Breanna Wilson and Quensha Baul.  Austin DeWaal and Valiyah Martin are playing the parts of the Stockings.  The Candle is being played by Priscilla Baul.

The “family” in the program are Mark Wilson as the dad, Philiyah Herbert acting as the mom, Alantra Walley takes on the part of grandparent and Martelle Wilson is the youngster in the group.

The younger children making up the cast include Myra Branco, Ron Thompson-Herd, Destinee Williams, Max Atkins, Kia Atkins, Lance Atkins, Maya Branco, Mariah Pawlovich, David Martin, Darius Randolph and Trenon Sweethomes.
