A purse belonging to a fire victim was stolen from the lobby of America’s Value Inn on East Yosemite Avenue near the El Rancho Mobile Home Park where Kathryn Swain and Bob St. John were burned out of their mobile home last Wednesday afternoon.
A family member said a clean-cut Caucasian man, wearing a long fur coat, took Swain’s purse early Monday morning and disappeared from the lobby.  Her home was completely destroyed in the fire.
