Give Every Child A Chance is looking for a few dedicated volunteers to make a difference in the life of a students that are challenged in school. Students that struggle with reading and problem solving skills seem to have lost the excitement in learning.

These need to be empowered every day.

Join Give Every Child A Chance and be a Mentor/Tutor two days a week, one hour a day. Show youth how by being patient and tackling one problem at a time with someone that will help can change their attitudes about school and their lives. Give Every Child A Chance offers this opportunity at many locations throughout Manteca, Lathrop, Ripon, Escalon, Weston Ranch and now Banta. You will receive great incentives through helping your peers and earning savings bonds for sharing your time.

“I have learned so much from the students and volunteers of our program about giving, compassion, and a level of understanding and patience that people forget children and teens can have. I can’t share this opportunity with enough people,” said Jamie Anderson, Program Director.

If you are a person that cares about others that are struggling and want a chance to offer success, take advantage of the opportunity that lies in front of you. Go to www.gecac.net or call the Give Every Child A Chance office at 825-7003 to learn more about how to help them reach their goal of creating smiles in the classroom and future role models in the community and how it will benefit you.
