RIPON -  The Great Valley Museum of Modesto Junior College will hold the annual Tule Fog Fete on Sunday, March 7, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Caswell State Park.

Admission is $5 per person or $15 per carload. The event will be shifted to March 21 if it rains.

Set in the pristine, wild beauty of the Stanislaus River riparian and oak woodland, this family-oriented festival features bluegrass music; an obstacle course for kids; guided nature walks; live, native animals; educational science and hands-on nature stations; food and decadent chocolate desserts.

Caswell State Park can be reached by taking Highway 99 to the Austin Road exit and heading south until it ends at the park.

The event is a fundraiser for the Great Valley Museum, a non-profit foundation dedicated to providing science and natural history information to adults and children of all ages through classes, programs and exhibits. The museum serves the families of Stanislaus, San Joaquin, and surrounding counties. For more information on the Tule Fog Fete or the Great Valley Museum call (209) 575-6196.
