The Lathrop High Theater Arts Department will be having its final event of the school year with “Captain Bree and Her Lady Pirates.”
This free event to the public is under the direction of Hali Rosen. “All you have to do is reserve seats on the Eventbright link (http:/tinyurl.com/lhscaptainbree),” she said.
Nine performances are planned, from May 6 through May 20.
The play is a “swashbuckling, rowdy, lively musical set on the high seas in the late 1800s,” according to the Eventbright description.
It’s here that Captain Bree and her Lady Pirates commandeer the British Schooner “The Kayla May” and are aimed to sell off the passenger for a high ransom.
“This is great for Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and any club interested in attending,” Rosen said. “This is also great way for the whole family to have fun at no cost.”
The Lathrop High theater is located at 647 Spartan Way.
