Three free educational seminars concerning estate and long-term care planning, probate, and living trusts will be presented during January by attorney Gina B. Leguira at the Manteca Branch Library.

The seminars are set for Wednesday, Jan. 20, at 5 p.m.; Saturday, Jan. 23, at 10 a.m.; and Tuesday, Jan. 26, at 5 p.m.

The presenter devotes her practice to estate and Medi-Cal planning and elder law. Her primary focus is protecting families from the devastating legal effects of disability and death. The seminars show the public how to avoid unnecessary court proceedings, protect assets, continue legacies through charitable giving, and provide for the security of their loved ones.

An attorney since 1999, Leguira has been a senior advisor with Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department, partnered with Northern California Estate Planning Counselors, and belongs to the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys.

These free programs are provided through the generosity of the Friends of the Manteca Library. The Manteca Branch library is part of the Stockton-San Joaquin County Public Library and is located at 320 W. Center St., Manteca.
