They filed into the Ripon Christian High gym one last time as a class on Friday.

They were strongly greeted by family, friends, and special guests in attendance for their graduation — the 74th commencement for Ripon Christian.

All told, the Class of 2019 were 48 strong led by valedictorian Taylor Amena and salutatorian John Van Vliet.

The special evening consisted of Superintendent Eric Segaar welcoming all and Pastor Glenn Gerdes providing the invocation.

This was also a time at looking back at the years, with many of the classmates being products of Ripon Christian Schools since kindergarten.

Saylor de Abreu, who will be attending Vanguard University in the fall, had the honors of presenting the class gift.

Anema and Van Vliet also addressed their graduating class, with Van Vliet giving the farewell speech and closing prayers.
