I LOVE RIPON APRIL 25
Volunteers needed for community projects
RIPON FIRE HYDRANTS
Volunteers painted fire hydrants during the 2023 Love Ripon event.

Volunteers are needed for various I Love Ripon projects on Saturday, April 25.

Descriptions of projects as well as registration can be accessed at loveripon.com.

There are volunteer opportunities for people of all ages, physical abilities, and experiences.

Last year, over 550 volunteers gathered together to tackle projects all over Ripon.

They removed graffiti from the bridge, cleaned up trash along the river, painted over 100 fire hydrants, beautified six schools with paint and plants, spread bark at four city parks, painted a house for a family in need, cleaned two yards, worked in two community gardens, and helped at Triple H Youth Ranch.

Before volunteering at your specific project site, meet at 8:15 a.m. in front of the Community Center at the corner of 4th Street and Locust in downtown Ripon. You’ll get your free Love Ripon T-shirt (while supplies last), free coffee and breakfast goods, as well as meet with your project leaders.

Work will take place at project sites from 9 a.m. to noon.

Lunch will be hosted at noon by the local Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1051 located at 12455 West Ripon Road.
