The Manteca Police Department’s Bike Rodeo 2024 is this Saturday.

This free community event will take place in the parking lot located in front of the police station, 1001 W. Center St., from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Also taking place at the same time at the Manteca Civic Center is the “Art in the Park” event staged by the Mayor’s Committee on the Arts.

“Join us for a day filled with fun for the whole family,” said local police about the free bike rodeoi via the City of Manteca website (www.manteca.gov).

Those attending can bring their bikes and helmets to the annual event, which will cover the following:

·       Bike inspections and repairs.

·       Bike safety and maintenance workshops.

·       An obstacle course for riders to test their skill.

·       A demonstration by K-9 Unit.

·       An up-close look at the police vehicles.

·       Food and drinks will be provided.

Art in the Park

The nonprofit clubs supporting the arts as a member of the Mayor’s Committee on the Arts MMCA are Manteca Youth Focus, Manteca Murals, Manteca Quilters, Manteca Garden Club, Kids Art, Chain Gang, Manteca Artist Guild, Soroptimist, and Society of Creative Anachronism.  

Each club will  have arts and craft tables set up with activities and crafts.   Everyone is welcome. 

The event will be at the Civic Center,  1001 W Center St., 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is free for all.
