Chamber honors three businesses

stepping it up in Manteca in 2026

Three concerns were recognized by the Manteca Chamber of Commerce for enhancing the business community during Wednesday’s State of the City at the Veranda Event Center.

Recipients of the Business Enhancement Awards were Retro Pie, Joe Mortgage Company, and Big O Tires.

Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Joan Beattie offered the following comments about the three businesses:

*“Retro Pie has been in Manteca for just over eight months, and they have already become a staple in our downtown area. Their investment of time, resources, and creativity has created a welcoming atmosphere, delicious food, and a strong sense of community.”
*“Joe Villegas Group – CrossCountry Mortgage. Located in Downtown Manteca, this business has undergone a beautiful transformation, both inside and out, making a significant contribution to the revitalization and appearance of our downtown area.”

*“Big O Tires. This location has been completely remodeled and truly looks like a brand-new business. It proudly stands on the site of the original Big O Tires from years past, continuing its legacy while bringing a fresh new look to the community.”

More than 350 people attended the event co-sponsored by the City of Manteca and the Manteca Chamber of Commerce.
