At Monday’s Ripon Unified school board meeting, Superintendent Ziggy Robeson will recognize employees who recently retired.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she was unable to pay tribute to the nine retirees at the May meeting.

Add one more employee scheduled to retire at the end of this month – Executive Assistant to the Superintendent Susan DaBranca – bringing the retirement tally to 10.

All told, that’s 252 years of service at RUSD.

Honored at the 7 p.m. open session meeting at Ripon City Hall will be Bernice deWitte (five years), Susan Ash (17 years), DaBranca (18 years), Pam Routhier (18 years), Marsha Silva (25 years), Diane Wilkerson (28 years), Lisa Dahlin (34 years), Lisa Webb (34 years), Stephanie Pratt (35 years) and Kathy Woodson (38 years).

The monthly meeting is available via live audio stream at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCCpUWbW1dQJHIH7jun7fh5g/live.

In other agenda items:

  • Caldwell Flores Winters Inc. will provide a presentation on the district’s Facilities Plan/Preliminary Plan Findings.
  • Superintendent Robeson will give an update on the 2020-21 School Reopening Plans.
  • Robeson will request a change on the Board Meeting Calendar for 2020, adding a second December meeting.
