The Ripon Unified school board meets tonight in the Council Chambers, 259 N. Wilma Ave., to recognize those who helped out at the recent San Joaquin County AgFest.

Those who receive certificates of recognition during the 7 p.m. open session — as part of Ziggy Robeson’s Superintendent’s Report — include Justin Almeida, Zoe Barba, Kyle Blankenship, Caitlynn Campbell, Tommy Campbell, Martin Cardoza, Jake Chapin, Ian Clark, Angelina Cortez. Alyssa Donich, Kylee Duree, Thomas Jacob Hunt, Jeanne Keener, Matthew Maragos, Cassidy Morton, Trevor Pedersen, Emma Phelps, Ean Richards, Brock Sadler, Malery States, and Isabel Thompson.

In other agenda items:

uThe mascot of Harvest High will be announced.

uThe board will hear a continuing request for reduction of facility-use fees from the Ripon Chiefs youth football program.

uElected leaders are scheduled to recognize those students who participated in the San Joaquin County Worknet Summer Youth Employment and Training Program.
