The Ripon Unified school board approved some new hires including four swim instructors.

Named to those positions at the special session last Tuesday were Jennifer Graves, Erik Zador, Kacey Kerr and Patrick O’Conner – they’ll also double as lifeguards.

Others listed were Resource Specialist Program teacher Tahnaia Towler, substitute teachers Patrick Maragos and Devon Denhart, and Instructional aides Dakota Johnson, Casandra Hageman, Elsa Monteon-Taylor, Mia Kinlaw, Amanda Dart, and Rosalinda Garcia Duran.

In addition, Jesse Perez was brought on as a drum technician, Alexis Brush will be at the Ripon Afterschool Program at Ripon Elementary School, and Kendra Kamora will serve as JV sideline cheer coach at Ripon High.
