Heavy rain in 2012 overwhelmed the Center Street and Main Street intersection. The area flooded twice in 2014 as well.
The rain of the past few weeks still isn’t enough for Manteca and the rest of California to shake being in a severe drought. But if the traditional “rainy” season in Manteca from now through the end of March persists after the series of atmospheric rivers pass, Manteca will be ready.
