Eighteen Paul Harris Fellow awards were presented to Manteca Noon Rotarians and family members Thursday at Isadore’s by Rotary District Governor Liz Hosmer and past club president Mark Oliver.

A Paul Harris Fellow award signifies a monetary contribution of $1,000 to the Rotary Foundation by a Rotarian on behalf of themselves, or in the name of a friend or family member who also supports Rotary’s efforts to improve education, and lives in the U.S. and around the world.   Rotary is largely credited with financial support for the nearly completed task of eradicating polio around the world, as one example of their efforts.

Local Rotarians and/or family members receiving Paul Harris Fellow awards on Thursday were Ginger Battles, Juanita Bradford, Diane Brinton, McKenna Condit, Eva Cuevas, Nathaniel Halford, Mikala Hatfield, Calvin Kee, Allison Nussbaumer, Juleanna Parades, David Perry, Mary Shields, Lena Stellhorn, Lincoln Stellhorn, Robert Scott Stellhorn, and Dave Winegarden.

Receiving multiple Paul Harris Fellow awards, meaning Rotary contributions of $2,000 or more, were Renee Kee, past club president, and current club president, Fred Stellhorn.
