An 85-year-old Manteca man allegedly stabbed his 56-year-old son shortly before midnight Wednesday in a home they shared.Manteca Police found the victim on the lawn of the home near Woodward Park in the 2000 block of Brennan Place with the suspect Billy Segler still inside the house. A perimeter of officers was set up and phone contact was made with Segler, according to Sgt. Jodie Estarziau. The suspect was reluctant to come out of the house, but eventually responded to police demands and was taken into custodyThe suspect was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with great bodily injury and was transported to San Joaquin County Jail in French Camp.
