Rainbow Girls pancake breakfast
The Manteca Rainbow Girls are conducting a pancake breakfast this Sunday, Jan. 24, from 8 a.m. until noon at the Masonic Temple, 212 N. Powers Ave.

The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children.

Benefit tonight for Jason Davino
A fund raiser is planned tonight from 10 p.m. to midnight at El Jardin Restaurant, 1119 S. Main St., to benefit Jason Davino who has Stage 4 brain cancer. El Jardin will donate $1 per drink and $1 per appetizer to Davino’s fund. A Marilyn Monroe look alike will be on hand. You can have your photo taken with Marilyn for $5 to benefit Davino as well. Donations can also be made at any Wells Fargo Bank for account number 8046612571.

St. Anthony’s School’s first annual Crab Feed
St. Anthony’s School is hosting its first crab feed on Saturday, Jan. 30, from 5:30 p.m. until midnight in the school gymnasium at 323 N. Fremont Avenue. Come for a night of fun with both live and silent auctions, 50/50 raffle, music and dancing.

Dinner includes marinated crab, marinara pasta, homemade pesto, salad, bread and dessert.  Wine will be served with dinner.  No-host cocktails will be at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. and dancing from 9:30 p.m. until midnight. The cost is $40 for adults and $20 for children, 6 to 12 years.  Tickets are available in the school office. Humane Society volunteer orientation
The Delta Humane Society’s no-kill animal shelter is holding a volunteer orientation on Saturday, Jan. 30, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Shelter on 4590 N. Highway 99 in Stockton.

Volunteers are needed in all areas from hands-on with the animals to fund raising. Sign-up now and find out how you can get involved, call 466-0331.

EU Boosters crab feed Feb. 6
The East Union High Athletic Boosters crab feed takes place Saturday, Feb. 6, at the MRPS Hall, 133 N. Grant St.

It takes place from 6 p.m. to midnight and includes dancing. The cost is $40. There is a no host bar.

Shrimp Feed set for Feb. 20
Manteca’s Every 15 Minute Program is having its 2nd Annual Shrimp Feed on Saturday, Feb. 20, at the Manteca Senior Center. The social hour starts at 5 p.m. with a no- host bar, dinner at 6:30 p.m., raffle and silent auction is at 8 p.m. with dancing from 8:30 p.m. until midnight. The price is $35. This is a 21 years and older event only.  

There will be safe and sober rides home available to everyone. Ticket prices will go up in February to $40. This event is to raise money for Manteca’s Every Fifteen Minutes Program. This event is sponsored by the Manteca District Ambulance, Manteca Police Department, Manteca Fire Department, Lathrop Police Services, Lathrop- Manteca Fire Department, and Manteca Unified School District.
