The Promenade Shops at Orchard Valley is sponsoring its first Art at the Center Event through Jan. 1.

The work of local artists are on display throughout the center in the windows of most of the buildings at the shopping complex at the 120 Bypass and Union Road.

Art at the Center features painting, photography, pottery, jewelry and many more artistic styles.

Some of the artists featured at the show are:

Jean Ramey – watercolors, oil paintings and sewing designs; Trey Steinhart – photography & portraits; Rose Marie Maurer – oil paintings; Dan Voller – local farms and cityscapes; Margo Flanagan – watercolors & acrylics; Dawn Best – oils, pen & ink & pencil, animal prints; Tim Rued – Oils; Em Mc Laren – Photography; Linda Osborne – pottery; Leslie Sullivan - pottery; Pam Ackles - pottery; Dolly Navarro - pottery; Don Hall - pottery; Kathy White - pottery; Frank Sheldon - pottery; Glenda Burns - pottery; Doreen Heath - pottery; Stan Holtz - pottery; JC Strote – pottery, Doug Ridgway – photography; and Federated Women’s Club – art projects.

Much of the art is for sale and would make wonderful Christmas gifts.
