The Pregnancy Help Center is ushering in the fall season with an evening full of laughs.

Family comedian Mike Williams will headline the Pregnancy Help Center’s Fall Banquet on Oct. 17 at Calvary Community Church. The dinner show is scheduled from 6 to 9:30 p.m.

Dinner will be a Mexican-style buffet, featuring chili rellenos, and carnitas and chicken enchiladas. There will also be a virgin margarita machine.

Tickets cost $30 per person, or $200 for a table of eight.

For Williams, the cause hits close to home.

The Chicago native was born into an impoverished home in a crime-infested neighborhood. He was given up for adoption by his mother, calling it an act of selfless love. Williams and his wife adopted their son.

The G-rated comedian is expected to perform for more than an hour.

His bit is well-traveled. Williams can be heard daily on SiriusXM Satellite Radio, and he’s had appearances on Bananas, a family comedy show; Focus on the Family; the Family Comedy Minute; as well as Premier Christian Cruises and major Christian music festivals.

Tickets are available at the Pregnancy Help Center, 640 North Main Street in Manteca. For more information, call 209.239.9899.
