Ripon Christian School 8th grade graduates 36

Ripon Christian Elementary School graduated 36 students last Thursday night with most moving on to Ripon Christian High School.

The celebrated Middle School Band led played during the recessional and the opening prayer was led by Mr. Eric Segaar, superintendent of Ripon Christian Schools.

Taylor Anema and Tanner Hoekstra took on the roles of the class speaker.  Speaker for the evening was Mr. Dusty Hoekstra and the presentation of awards was made by Kevin Schenk, K-8 principal.  The diplomas were presented by school board members David Bakker, Becky Hoekstra and Kevin Miller.

The class song was, “Jesus Loves Me.”

The Middle School Band played again for the recessional.

Graduating students included Cade Alger, Taylor Alger, Taylor Anema, Rachael Bakker, Megan Bos, Naomi Burnside, Cullen Burris, Rilee Clark, Ethan Saylor De Abreu, Braden De Jong, Anneke De Vries, Ryan Dotinga, Karsten Gerdes, Renae Heida, Tanner Hoekstra, Mic Kamps, Reagan Kelley, Joshua Kroon, Luke Mensonides, Makenzie Miller, Thys Moret, Brock Nunes, Nathan Oh, Hana Oshima, Devin Roos, Sophia Schmiedt, Gianna Smith, Kayla Stuit, Drew Van Vliet, Gracie Van Vliet, John Van Vliet, Jayson Vandenakker, Thea Vander Meulen, Corey Viss, and Rachael Weaver.
