Ripon chamber dinner set for next Thursday

The Ripon Chamber of Commerce annual installation and awards dinner is set for next Thursday at the Spring Creek Country Club.

A social hour and no host bar are set for 6 p.m. with dinner following at 7.

San Joaquin County Supervisor Ken Vogel is planning to attend and swear in the new Board of Directors for the 2013-2014 fiscal year.  One board member, Helen Caetano, is being honored for her service as she retires from the board.

The Chamber will be recognizing the business of the year, educators of the year, police officer of the year, firefighter of the year and a an outstanding volunteer from the past year.

Dinner tickets are $40 per person and will include wine from McManis Family Vineyards, a no host bar with butler passed hors d’oeuvres, dinner and dessert.  There will be a silent auction along with an opportunity drawing.  Tickets are available until Tuesday, July 23, at the Ripon Chamber of Commerce office at 929 W.
