RIPON — Face-to-face meetings with members of the public to promote communications between the police and residents start Wednesday, January 12.
Ripon Police Sergeant Steve Merchant said the first meeting will set the tone for discussions that will focus on issues in the four beat area neighborhoods.
Sgt. Terri Jensen is scheduled to speak on patrol area No. 1 at the onset of the weekly sessions that will be held next week at the Ripon Police Department at 7 p.m. Beat one is west of North Ripon Road and north of Highway 99.
