Ripons Harvest High graduates 17 seniors

Seventeen seniors graduated Wednesday at noon from Ripon’s Harvest High continuation school located on the edge of the Ripon Unified campus on West Main Street amid a number of awards and scholarships.
Michael Anderson, a representation of Congressman Jeff Denham’s office, presented a Congressional Merit Award to Miguel Gonzalez and Congressional Achievement Awards to five other graduates.
Ripon’s American Legion awarded a $500 scholarship to Yennifer Ochoa.  The Ripon Police Department presented a $250 college scholarship to Joshua Gonzalez. The Ripon Consolidated Fire Department presented certificates of appreciation for volunteer work to Stephanie Olveda, Devan Duarte, Joshua Gonzalez and Miguel Gonzalez.
