ROTARYS TOP STUDENT
Mackie Jackson, 17, was selected as Manteca Rotary Club’s vocational student of the month for November. She was honroed at the group’s weekly luncheon at Isadore’s Restaurant. Seen with Mackie presenting the honor is Rotary President Dana Soloman along with her teacher Lisa Quaresma of the Lindbergh School ROP child care class. Mackie was credited with being self-motivated, determined and enthusiastic. She plans to enroll at Delta College next fall on her way to earning a degree in Early Childhood Education.
