COLUMBIA — Sierra Repertory Theatre Jr. will present a brand new children’s musical based on the classic Mark Twain tale of the same name, “The Jumping Frog of Calaveras County,” May 11 -15 at 10 a.m. at the Fallon House Theatre in Columbia State Historic Park.

Written by and starring SRT Education Director Ralph Krumins, the production combines local history with hilarious styles of music, from hip “hop” to western and even ballet. Audiences of all ages will act along as they help weave the original tale.

The interactive, educational show comes just before the Calaveras County Fair and Jumping Frog Jubilee, set for May 19-22, with Mark Twain’s famous cabin just down the road. “Jumping Frog” has been on tour to local schools and now brings the fun home for one weekend only.

Tickets are just $4 for adults and children. For tickets and information, visit www.sierrarep.org or call the Box Office at 209-532-3120.
