SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — San Francisco police are trying to identify three suspects in an altercation over Google’s new Internet-connected, head-mounted computer at a city bar.

Police spokesman Albie Esparza says a woman told investigators the suspects thought she was recording them with Google Glass while she was at the bar in the city’s Haight-Ashbury neighborhood around 1:45 a.m. Saturday.

One of them allegedly took the glass and ran off. The woman said she was able to retrieve it, but her purse and cellphone were stolen.

The woman has given police a description of at least one of the suspects.

Google Glass is not yet available for sale to the general population, though Google has given it out for testing and to develop apps.
