FARMERS CRITICIZE HIGH-SPEED RAIL PLAN: SACRAMENTO (AP) — San Joaquin Valley farmers have told the California High-Speed Rail Authority that they are opposed to the planned transportation line. Residents have complained that the rail authority has ignored their concerns about the project's potential disruption of farms, businesses and neighborhoods. The county and others are suing in Sacramento to halt the project.
