Doctors Hospital hosted a yuletide competition for its employees Thursday afternoon with the building of gingerbread houses – with 19 entered in all – coupled with an ugly yuletide sweaters contest.
Kelly Carpo and Michael Fields worked diligently on their creation that included a hot air balloon covered with candies rising out of their gingerbread house chimney.
The event included a central table with custom made candies and cookies to help break up their afternoon with the addition of a little Christmas spirit making the rounds of the meeting room in the southwest corner of the hospital.
