Adrian DeKruyf, age 85, passed away in his home on July 7, 2020.  Adrian was born on December 7, 1934 in Brooten, Minnesota.  
   He was raised and worked on the family farm with his10 siblings, before enlisting in the army.  Upon discharge, he moved with the family to Artesia, California where he met Margaret Elizabeth teVelde.  They were wed on March 7, 1958.  They started their family in Artesia before relocating to San Jose in 1967.  Adrian managed Dext Feed Company for 30+ years manufacturing animal feed.  Adrian and Margaret moved to Ripon, California in 2003 where they enjoyed the close connections with family, old and new friends.  Adrian was known as a hard worker, storyteller, fisherman and woodworker.  He and Margaret traveled all over the United States in their motorhome over the years.
   Adrian was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Margaret who passed in 2013.  He is survived by a devoted family that made sure his needs were met in his last year when his physical demands were greatest, Brenda Huegin (Gene) of New Braunfels, TX, Barbara Sindlinger (Jeff) of Visalia, CA, Brian DeKruyf (Marcy) of Ripon, CA and Beverly Andersen (Eric) of Kent, WA, five grandchildren , Kurt, Garrett, Drew, Shane and Claire and two great-grandchildren , Adeline and Brandt.  
   Services will be held at Almond Valley Christian Reformed Church on August 1, at 11:00  a.m.  Donations in memoriam can be made to the Almond Valley Christian Reformed Church Deacon’s Fund.
