Albert Med 001 BW

Albert Medeiros, 89, entered into rest on October 21, 2014, in Folsom. He was born on January 7, 1925, in Keys, CA. He joins his wife,  Leonora “Lee” Medeiros, in heaven.
Mr. Medeiros is survived by his children, Larry Medeiros (wife Mary Ann) and Shirley Gregory (husband Ted). He was blessed by five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. In addition, Albert has one surviving sister, Elsie Medeiros.
Albert owned and operated Medeiros & Son Ranch on Airport Way for over 50 years. After retirement, Albert went to work for Tuff Boy Trailers as a foreman for 15 years. He was a member of Lyons Club and was a past trustee for Nile Garden Elementary School. In 2008 Albert moved to Creedside Oaks Retirement Home, where he was extremely active; calling out bingo twice a week and challenging the residents to a great game of cards.  He enjoyed golfing, the outdoors and fishing. Albert always had a smile on his face as he was an all-around nice guy; his fun outgoing personality never went unnoticed. He was a fabulous grandpa, always supporting his grandchildren in everything they set forth in doing. Albert will be remembered as a devoted family man. He will be missed.
