Angela Marie Jacquez, 21, of Lathrop, CA passed away February 24, 2012 from an accidental death. She was born November 17, 1990 in Mountain View, Ca. Angela is survived by her parents Sergio & Mary Jacquez, her brother Sergio Jacquez Jr., her grandmothers Marie Alires-Slife and Adela Jacquez, as well as many extended family members including uncles, aunts and many; many cousins. She is preceded in death by her grandfathers James Slife and Elier Jacquez.

Angela graduated from Sierra High School, class of 2009, where she was an honor student. She was a star athlete; she played soccer and was on the swim team. Angela attended Delta College in Stockton. She was a member of the National Guard. Angela loved playing the guitar and was an artist. She loved being with her friends, her family was always the most important part of her life. She enjoyed cooking with her mother and going to 49er and S.F. Giants games with her dad. Angela had a special relationship with her brother Sergio Jr. She enjoyed vacationing with her family in Hawaii. Angela was a caring individual who cared deeply about others. She was always willing to lend a hand to those in need. Angela was loved very, very much and will be missed.

P.L. Fry & Son has been entrusted with funeral arrangements. A visitation will be held Thursday March 1, 2012, 5 to 7 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 7pm in the Chapel of P.L. Fry & Son, 290 N. Union Road. Catholic burial will be held Friday March 2, at 11 a.m. at St Anthony’s Catholic Church, 505 E. North St. Manteca, CA. Burial will follow at Parkview Cemetery.
