Beradine passed away on July 6, with her son at her side, Bernadine peacefully left this earth to join her beloved Jesus, her husband Robert, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Bernadine was born in Oklahoma and then traveled to Stockton, CA. with her parents, Jess and Pearl Miller, where she graduated from high school.  She then attended bible college for two years in Eugene, Oregon.  Upon returning to Stockton, she met and fell in love with Robert J. Madoski who was pastoring the Lathrop Brethren Church.  They married on Christmas Day 1952.  They went on to pastor in Indiana, West Virginia and Kansas before returning to the Lathrop church in 1963.
She began a long career in food service for Manteca Unified School District.  She held the position of Cafeteria Manager (famous for her cinnamon rolls) at Manteca High School for several years before retiring.  She and Robert traveled extensively in their 5th wheel for several more years before returning to Ripon, CA.  They were members of Crossroads Grace Church in Manteca.  She hosted regular bible study groups in her home.       Her brother Raymond and sister Gladys pre-deceased her.  She is survived by her sister, Louise (Antioch), her son Larry (Huntington, Beach), two grandchildren, Larry (Ripon) and Douglas (Arizona), and six great-grandchildren, Averee, Christian, and Haylee (Arizona), Maddlynn, Marcus and Macie (Ripon).       There will be a brief graveside farewell at East Union Cemetery on August 8, at 10:30 a.m. Due to the pandemic restrictions, if you are not comfortable or are unable to attend, please take a brief moment at that time to offer a prayer and remember the awesome life and memories she gave us.
