She lived most of her life in Manteca, where she was married and raised four children. She is preceded in death by her parents and four siblings, as well as her husband, Derl Blaine Crowder.

She was survived by her sister, Una Schluer of Manteca and her brother Tommy Crawford of Nevada as well as her dear childhood friend Laura Stone. She was part-owner of Ceramic City here in Manteca, teaching classes and producing beautiful ceramics. She was a wonderful friend and neighbor, always willing to go the extra mile.
