Carlos A. Martinez, 55, of Manteca, passed away on April 30, 2010 in Manteca. Carlos was born on November 4, 1954 in Progreso Morelos, Mexico, and was a resident of Manteca for the past seven years. He was an herb specialist and was a member of Iglesia Comunitaria Centra Vida. Carlos is survived by his companion, Cecilia Martinez; his children, Patricia Martinez and Carlos Alberto Martinez; his grandchildren, Litzy Consuelo Garcia, Luis Gael Garcia, and Patricia Yolotzyn Garcia; his brothers, Ipolinar Popoca and Antonio Estevan Reymundo Santiago Salgado; and his sisters Margarita Popoca and Elena Amada Reyna Isabel Laureles Zalgado.

Visitation for Carlos will take place on Thursday, May 6, 2010 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Park View Memorial Chapel, 3661 E. French Camp Road in Manteca, with graveside service to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Lodi Memorial Cemetery, 5750 E. Pine in Lodi. Arrangements were handled by Park View Funeral Home, 3661 E. French Camp Road in Manteca.
