Carolyn Baker entered peacefully into her eternal home in heaven surrounded by her family on January 5, 2020.
She had put up a valiant fight against her autoimmune disorders and other medical conditions during the past four years.
She is survived by her husband, Chuck, three children, four step-children, 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and moved to California in 1960 settling in La Canada where she raised her family. She later moved to the San Joaquin Valley when she married her husband, Chuck, in 1983. She possessed wonderful secretarial skills working for several different companies and she had a compassionate caring spirit as she later worked in two Assisted Living facilities in Fresno and directed an Adult Day Care Center in Madera.
She took an active role in her church wherever she lived and anchored her life in the Biblical promises of the Bible. She was a charming, happy mother, wife and friend and we will surely miss her distinct laugh as she enjoyed her grandchildren and family.
A memorial service will be held on February 22, at
11 a.m. at Quail Lakes Baptist Church, 1904 Quail Lakes Drive in Stockton, CA.
Remembrances may be made to Descanso Gardens, 1418 Descanso Dr., La Canada Flintridge, CA. 91011, or to In Touch Ministries, P.O. Box 7900, Atlanta, GA 30357, or to a charity of your choice.
