Charlene Mae Llamas, 74, entered into rest on August 28, 2020 in Manteca, CA. She was born on June 23, 1946 in San Francisco, CA to the late Domingo and Mercy Garcia. She is preceded in death by her husband Henry G. Llamas Jr., brothers Richard Garcia, Bill Mateo and Peter Mateo, sister-in-law Barbara Mateo and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Dave and June Benitez.
   Charlene is survived by her loving family, daughter Inez (Lee) DeRosa, son, Henry (Roxsan) G. Llamas III, siblings, Adeline 'Lena' Albizo, Lorraine 'Kadida' Mateo, Lauretta 'Naughty' and Gene Pennisi, Lenora 'Nora' and Tom Villeggiante,sister-in-laws Nadine Mateo and Judy Garcia.  Also, the Llamas family, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, Julie and Herb Williams, Daniel and Sylvia Llamas, Michelle (Llamas) and Sandy Kelly, and Cynthia and Roshawn Mohammed. In addition, Charlene was blessed with six grandchildren, Crystal (Gary) Guinnane, Stephany (Kyle) Cozad, Jamie (Cris) Gonzalez, Henry G. Llamas IV, Tianna Charlene Llamas, and Kiara Llamas, great-grandchildren  Skylar, Penelope and Liam.
   A 16-year resident of Manteca, Charlene was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and the Manteca Senior Center. She enjoyed her life traveling many places with her husband, children, grandchildren and also with all her brothers and sisters. She so enjoyed going on day trips to local casinos, especially Black Oak Casino and Reno with her family and friends. Charlene will be remembered for her loving heart, beautiful smile that lit up the room, her hugs and all the words of wisdom and great advice she shared with everyone. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
   We find comfort knowing she is now in heaven with her husband Hank where he escorted her into paradise by saying “Welcome home my Puerto Rican Princess.”
    P.L. Fry and Son is honored to be serving the Llamas and DeRosa families. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, all services are private. Charlene will be laid to rest at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Escalon, CA.
